Summer News From the Boating Front

A Recent sale - Eastbay in Charleston SC
From the Desk Of Tyler Wirick …

With a cold Memorial Day weekend in the past, Michigan’s official boating season is here! It’s been great to see everyone down at the docks or out on the work racks getting their boats ready for hopefully a great warm summer. Let’s hope we end up like last summer with minimal rain days to spoil the fun.

With it being the beginning of the season, I always want to remind everyone to inspect their safety gear as it is easy to overlook. Keeping everything up to date and ship shape makes any safety inspection stop by law enforcement quick and easy.

The marina has been running at full speed this spring getting all of our boats out to the water and ready to run. The showroom has emptied out quickly getting new boats to excited waiting customers for the first holiday weekend.

To not miss out for next season, now is the time to start thinking about picking out the details on a new Chaparral or Robalo. In this current market it’s best to start your ordering process now so you can know for sure you’ll have what you want for next season.

Brokerage boats are slim at the moment as well. To help my clients find the best boat for them, I have gone all the way down to Charleston South Carolina and back to make sure the deal moves forward. This is a great market for express cruisers and bow riders. If you have ever thought about listing your boat, let talk it over and see how I can help you. I have plenty of eager shoppers looking for boats maybe just like yours.

I just brought down the lake a beautiful 2017 Formula 290 Bow Rider to list for another client. She will be hitting the market soon so keep an eye out. Do you know anyone looking to get into boating?

I hope everyone has a happy, fun and most of all, a safe boating season.
