It looks like 2021 may bring some slight relief from record-high Lake Michigan water levels. The most recent (December) update from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District indicates a forecasted drop of six to eight inches from last season’s peak.

That will be good news for beachgoers, lakefront property owners and also local marinas as the Lake level impacts all waterfront areas.
