While our Service Office is under construction, please check in at the temporary office located within our service shop. We expect to return to normal check-in procedure and location prior to the memorial Day Weekend.

Important Early-Season News for Launch on Command Boaters

Pier 33’s Launch on Command season begins Saturday March 11. Our staff is organizing placement and readiness of our LOC boats. That’s a major transformation within our building, as the crew completes the final phases of spring launch for our winter storage boaters. Please carefully read through these important updates and reminders for our Launch on Command boaters.
  • Boats that have wintered at Pier 33 will have their batteries reconnected and a key-bump battery test as part of our LOC set-up process. These boats will also receive a quick spray-down to rinse off wintertime dust.

  • Pier 33 does also offer a Spring Commissioning service for our LOC boaters, $95 (single engine), $142.50 (twin engine). This includes checking all fluids, checking/charging batteries as needed and also performing an on-shore on-hose start-up of the boat. Use this link to order this service.

  • If you plan on going boating during the first week of service, please notify Service Manager Brenda Krugh of that plan, so that either the simple hook-up process or the Spring Commissioning task have been completed for your boat prior to your first ride. Boats that are planning to go boating during the first week of service are prioritized for completion of those tasks.

We do have a process for “after hours” launch. Please call in during our regular hours of operation and request a “last launch” of your boat. Your boat will be tied-off in an LOC dock awaiting your use for the evening, with keys in the ignition.
When returning after hours, securely tie-off in an LOC dock upon your return, cover your boat (at your discretion) and drop your keys in the “Night Owl” box outside our Service Office. Your boat will be hauled-out the next morning.
Our regular launch procedure is as follows: Check in at our Service Office, Door # 7, upon your arrival. Office staff will notify our Equipment Operator that your boat is to be launched. Offload your crew, coolers, at the picnic table area near our LOC docks and then park your vehicle in a designated area (see the 2019 Pier 33 Parking Guide). While awaiting launch of your boat, please remain behind the yellow line at our LOC gate. Once your boat has been lowered to the water and moved ahead of the forks, climb on board and begin your day on the water.
