TOPSIDES
The 355 can be boarded port or starboard, with clear acrylic wing doors leading to the aft deck. The aft deck is completely sheltered by a fiberglass hardtop, with fiberglass dodger and clear isinglass enclosure with screens. There's plenty of room to add chairs or table for extra comfort.
A fiberglass transom door leads down the molded staircase to a large boarding/swim platform.
Another integrated staircase leads from the aft deck, just three short steps up to the impressive command bridge. A forward lounge allows seating for up to four adults and a companion bench seat to the port of the
helm chair offers seating for three more. The helm itself is an impressive array of well-positioned gauges and affords excellent visibility fore and aft. The bridge is also carpeted and a bimini and enclosure provide all-weather protection.
DOWN BELOW
Cabin entry is from the aft deck, via a darkly tinted acrylic, curved sliding door. The plush salon features a convertible sofa, to port and a barrel armchair to starboard. The interior wood surfaces are a rich, light maple.
The dinette is forward and just one step down from the salon, to the starboard side, and will convert to sleep two. Opposite the dinette and one step down, is a fully-equipped galley, complete with hardwood floor, full-size refrigerator/freezer and abundant countertop & cabinet storage.
The guest stateroom is fully forward, with a double, offset berth and extra bunk above. Appointments include a cedar-lined hanging locker, nightstand, overhead hatch w/ screen and side portholes w/ screens. This stateroom also has a private entrance to the starboard side day head compartment, which is complete with toilet & shower stall and vanity.
The luxurious master suite is aft and features the comforts expected aboard a motoryacht of this stature. The tapered, offset queen berth is set to port. The suite features two hanging lockers, rear hatch and twin portholes w/ screens, recessed lighting, nightstand and an ensuite head complete with stall shower, toilet & vanity.
Carver's decor and appointments are plush and comfortable. Rich carpeting and upholstery, light wood finishes, large window areas and attractive fixtures combine with an excellent floorplan to make the 355 a superior design.
