TOPSIDES
At the helm, a double-wide bench seat is perfectly positioned for easy view of the impressive gauge cluster, as well as with excellent visibility in all directions. An aft-facing seat, double, adjoins the rear of the helm bench and the transom bench seat faces forward to complete the cockpit lounging area
A cockpit table inserts aft for easy serving. Deluxe indoor-outdoor carpet provides comfort underfoot. The tall forward windscreen and aft curtain join with the radar arch to provide excellent shade and shelter, with the aft curtains completing a camper-enclosure. The canvas package includes a forward screen for the center section, solid Sunbrella that can be used in lieu of the forward isinglass, aft curtain with screen and a cockpit cover. All is in very good condition.
Forward, a well-designed walk-thru windshield, with steps molded into the console, allows easy access to the foredeck for handling lines, or enjoying some sun on the removable foredeck sun lounge cushions. This 280 Express also includes an extended swim platform with built-in transom fender racks, accessed via a portside transom door.
DOWN BELOW
Cabin entry is to port, with a solid white lexan door and overhead hatchway.
The head compartment, with toilet, vanity and convenience shower, is at the base of the steps, portside, with the galley further forward. Opposite the galley, find a gently curved dinette/lounge, easily convertible for overnighting and richly upholstered in ultraleather.
The forward stateroom features a large double berth, with a coordinated privacy drape. A large circular hatch overhead scatters light and portlights with screens allow cross-venting in the berth.
The 280 Express also includes a cozy mid cabin tucked beneath the helm.
Throughout the interior, you will note the high quality workmanship in cherry cabinetry and finishing touches.You will find all surfaces, carpet and upholstery to be in excellent condition, inside and out.
