Pier 33 Marina of St. Joseph, Michigan is poised for growth and is currently seeking to add key members to our team in the following areas:



Fuel Dock Attendant, Seasonal Position, 2012. Pier 33 is currently seeking to add seasonal workers as Fuel Dock Attendants. Part-time, temporary employment. Summertime duties include fuel dock operation, launch-on-command dockside assistance, marina maintenance and customer service, swimming pool maintenance and general labor, working in an outdoor setting. Position requires substantial weekend and holiday work, with positions available beginning as early as April 1 and continuing as late as October 31.

Boat Sales & Yacht Brokerage. Pier 33 is a dealer for new boats from Chaparral, Scout and Pursuit and serves a broad market primarily covering northern Indiana and western Michigan with these product lines, plus an even greater reach for pre-owned boat sales. These positions require a wide range of boating experience and boat product knowledge. Candidates must have the ability to apply professional skills to the boat selling and client service process. Computer and modern communications skills are a must. In addition to over sixty new boat models available thru premium brands such as Chaparral, Pursuit and Scout Pier 33 provides its sales team with an outstanding level of marketing support and the region's finest full-service boating facility as home base, plus the benefit of a fully-trained technical staff. These positions may be part-time, full-time or as independent contractors, performing a full range of duties in new and used boat sales and yacht brokerage. Previous boat sales or yacht brokerage experience preferred.

Marine Technician. Pier 33 is seeking full-time year-round marine technicians at intermediate or advanced levels, with backgrounds in a wide range of boating services: stern drive, inboard and outboard engine repair & maintenance; fiberglass, structural & gelcoat repair; marine systems repair & maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, electronics and controls; ability to perform accurate diagnosis and troubleshooting in these areas. These positions require the ability to move from task to task with modest supervision, high efficiency and outstanding results in the finished product, all while performing in the varied environment of a full-service marina. Qualified candidates should be able to provide a detailed personal history of stable employment as a marine technician, outline of formal training and certification, plus verifiable wage history. Wage based upon qualifications.
