Pier 33 boaters, get ready to join your Pier 33 boating neighbors for a weekend cruise up the Lake to South Haven, Michigan.
Pier 33 has reserved a group of docks at South Haven's Municipal Marina, in a variety of sizes, to accommodate our boater overnight on Saturday July 28. We're picking up the tab for the dock, so your overnight is free with an RSVP.
Pier 33 boaters can begin arriving at South Haven anytime after Noon, on Saturday July 28. We'll have dock assignments ready for each registered boat by that time. Check-out is Noon, or thereabouts, on Sunday July 29, or arrange for a longer stay if you like.
South Haven has a great downtown area, within an easy walk of the marina. You'll find a variety of restaurants, taverns, shops and, ice cream all within an easy walk. Pier 33 will also provide a continental dockside brunch on Sunday morning.
We plan to have a new boat or two, on hand for the event to take a tour of the harbor.
Boaters can travel alone, or group together for a 2 PM departure from Pier 33. Additional captain's information and final details will be available at Pier 33 by Friday July 27. In the event of a serious foul weather forecast for the weekend, we'll delay our plans for another time.
