June 9 & 10 is a free fishing weekend and no fishing licenses are required in Michigan for any species, for children or adults, so catch whatever is biting! Drop a line off the back of your boat, or your dock, Sunday morning from 10 am to Noon. The Pier 33 staff will be patrolling the Morrison Channel to spot you in action. We'll be looking for the: First Fish, Uggliest Fish, Cutest Fish, Largest Fish, Youngest Angler, Eldest Angler and other categories, with a variety of prizes awarded. Are you headed out to the Lake to fish Sunday morning? Your catch is eligible for any of these categories. You're on your honor, so take a photo and submit it for consideration by the very impartial judging committee! Do you have one on the line? Call-in Sunday morning to (269) 208-2691 and we'll have our photo & judging crew headed to your dock before you release your catch. Family Photo Day, Sunday morning, 10 am to Noon. Gather your whole crew together on your back deck for a summertime photo. Call-in to (269) 208-2691 during the morning and our patrol boat will cruise by to take your picture and deliver a prize.
