TOPSIDES
The 290 Cabrio achieves a good balance of ample seating, plus ample open floorspace, in the cockpit area.
A double wide bench is at the helm, with a well-arrayed gauge & control cluster within easy reach. To portside, a single companion bucket seat swivels to face in any direction. One more seat slides out from beneath the helm bench.
The cockpit lounge is set along the portside, comfortably wrapping around the transom, with the swim platform boarding gate set in the starboard aft corner.
Bimini top & camper top provide a full cockpit shelter.
DOWN BELOW
Cabin entry is on the centerline, with a white lexan door for privacy.
The head compartment and galley are at the base of the stairs, portside, with a smoothly curved dinette lounge (convertible for overnighting) set to starboard.
The mid cabin is tucked behind the cabin steps and easily sleeps two, with privacy curtain. Up front, the double berth is elevated and offset, with another curtain for privacy.
Cabin interior fabrics are bright and the main hatch over head spreads light throughout. Original cabin carpet has been replaced by wood-look laminate for an even brighter feel, with low maintenance in the high-traffic areas.
